Bob Chicko, president and owner. Bob has over 25 years experience processing digital data on magnetic tape and is a 1974 graduate of the Colorado School of Mines. Bob's experience stems from working with digital petroleum data for fifteen years as a manager of software a development group, and as a hands on programmer in the Unites States, North Africa and the Middle East. Bob has worked on DEC, IBM Mainframe, PC and SUN hardware Platforms running VMS, OS, DOS, Windows, Linux and UNIX operating systems. He founded Data Storage Technologies in 1992 because of the emerging need for companies to convert their tape archives from their old, expensive and outdated legacy systems to newer media, formats and platforms.
